Get Rid of Pimples
How to get rid of pimples:
- If you’re a woman who wears makeup avoid any cosmetics with oil in them. Choose water based makeup.
- Don’t sleep with your makeup on, this can cause pimples. Wash your face every night
- Also take care not to wash too much. Twice a day is enough to keep your skin clean without irritating it or encouraging higher oil production and subsequent pimple production.
- Changing the soaps you use can often have an effect on pimples. Choosing a soap for sensitive skin may eliminate your outbreaks.
- Keep yourself hydrated. Drinking as much water as you can daily will help your body eliminate toxins.
- Trying taking birth controls pills or changing the brand that you are taking. Sometimes acne can be lessened by the hormones in the right pills.
- Take care in the sun. Getting a lot of sun may irritate you skin and increase breakouts. However, sometimes getting a bit of sun can help clear up you skin.
- A dab of toothpaste is a common home remedy. People argue whether it works or not, but it may be worth trying.
- A paste of baking soda and water applied to pimples nightly may also speed up the time it takes them to heal.
- Are you stressed? This may be a cause of acne flair ups. Try yoga or some other workout routine and get to bed early.
- If you absolutely cannot stop yourself from popping your pimple, at least do it correctly. Apply a compress that is wet and hot and hold it on the affected area until it becomes a whitehead. Lance the whitehead with a sterilized needle. (Use alcohol or a flame for sterilization.) Gently squeeze around the area until it is drained and then cleanse. Do all of this carefully to avoid scarring.
